ATS/PABAC

The region's active transportation professionals meet periodically as the "Active Transportation Subcommittee (ATS)/Pedestrian & Bicycle Advisory Committee (PABAC). The ATS is a subcommittee to the HRTPO's Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC). PABAC is a committee of VDOT. ATS/PABAC meetings are jointly Administered by HRTPO and VDOT

Association of Pedestrian & Bicycle Professional (APBP) Monthly Webinars

The HRTPO hosts APBP webinars to promote awareness of active transportation issues in the region for local planners and regional advocacy groups. These webinars provide a great opportunity to stay informed of current issues and trends regarding bicycles and pedestrians.
