| The HRPDC serves as a resource to foster and support local and regional strategies that will complement existing emergency management programs in cities and counties throughout Hampton Roads. Our goal is to help build partnerships that encourage regional cooperation. The HRPDC supports a proactive, integrated emergency management approach to mitigation, preparedness, prevention, response and recovery in the event of major emergencies or disasters. Working together helps ensure that the Hampton Roads area is well-prepared to protect the safety and well-being of its citizens. | ||
